Great food! Fairly priced, I was honestly shocked considering that most of the staff is college kids. They've never messed up my order. It's definitely a dive/college bar kinda vibe, very casual and young crowd. I'll keep coming back for their tree hugger salad and meat orgy pizza. :)

You have to love one of the very quintessential, San Diego State University, pizza and bar restaurants that is next to campus. The pizza here is delicious and the people that work there are very nice as well. The interior is a little dingy, which is exactly what you're looking for on an occasion like watching a basketball game or anything on the TV. The salads are good and also I would mention that they have slices of pizza available

Food is consistent and delicious. I like the kids zone and that staff is always friendly. The food is oven baked and not deep fried. Woodstock is a gem in Rolando Village. The feeling is welcoming and always a good time. I like that they implemented a code in the bathroom as they are clean now.

Enjoyed our experience at Woodstock's. Staff was super friendly, attentive, and helpful. They offer a military discount. We met with some friends to discuss vacation plans. Wasn't too crowded for a Saturday early evening but got busier as the evening were on. Very family oriented. We ordered a couple pizzas and wings. Lots of toppings on the pizza and the wings were perfect!

Quick update for Wookstock's... I've been coming back here recently at least once a week for one specific reason. What's that reason? The Greek salad, of course! After a modest tip this salad ends up costing about $13.00 and I'm telling you that it's enough for maybe two or three people. I get it for myself and usually grab a box to take home what I don't eat because it's so much food. Seriously, it's piled high and I legit crave this at least once a week. Hell, the pizza is pretty good too...

Woodstock's Pizza has been around for a long time. Based on what I found on their website, they have been around for over 40 years! They have multiple locations throughout Cali. I was aware of their locations in La Mesa and Pacific Beach (PB), but not of their other locations: Chico, Davis, San Luis Obisbo, Isla Vista (Santa Barbara, and Santa Cruz). I have not dined in the La Mesa location in quite some time. My work place has ordered carry out from Woodstock's many times throughout the years. It has always been good. We came here at the end of July for a family birthday celebration. We decided to order the Kickin' Carnitas and Aztec Classic. We love the names of their pizzas. Since they are in the vicinity of San Diego State University, they have a couple of pies with Aztec themed names. Smart marketing! For an appetizer we ordered the Loaded Tots and they were covered in cheese, bacon, onion, and jalapenos. They came with a side of ranch. We also ended up ordering some dessert style pizza called Cinnabread. It has cinnamon, brown sugar, icing, and we topped ours with apples, strawberries and pecans. The pizzas were pretty good. Our favorite was the Kickin' Carnitas. Dessert was also pretty good. I'd say all the ingredients were fresh and it was tasty. Surprisingly, the Loaded Tots were just okay. By the way it looked when it arrived at our table, I was expecting it to have more flavor, but the tots themselves were a little bland. I think they should have seasoned them with seasoning salt or something. 4.5 / 5: Kickin' Carnitas 4 / 5: Aztec Classic 4 / 5: Cinnabread 3.5 / 5: Loaded Tots I loved the ambiance of this place. The place has SDSU and Padres memorabilia and international flags hanging all around. They have big screens with sports playing... the Padres were playing when we arrived... they had a walk off win against the Dodgers! Easily one of the best games of the year. They have a small arcade as well and at least one sit down video game that I saw. Really good vibes here. Looks like they have late night happy hour specials here along with pitchers of beer. And they close at midnight every day. Definitely convenient for the night owls and for the college students to grab some late night food and dranks. The employees here were friendly and gave us good service. They made sure we had everything we needed. Parking was not an issue here.
